Behold my brothers (and sisters), the spring has come,
The earth has received the embraces of the sun
And we shall soon see the results of that love!

Every seed is awakened and so has all animal life
It is through this mysterious power that we too have our being
And we therefore yield to our neighbors,
Even our animal neighbors,
The same right as ourselves, to inhabit the land.
—Chief Sitting Bull

One of my favorites. You reminded me of the time I stumbled across Sitting Bull's grave on my wanderings. You can see a photo I took of the land he is buried in:

Tell the truth. You stumble over everything... LOL Love you!

"This grand show is eternal. It is always sunrise somewhere; the dew is never all dried at once; a shower is forever falling; vapor is ever rising.
Eternal sunrise, eternal sunset, eternal dawn and gloaming, on sea and continents and islands, each in its turn, as the round earth rolls."
~ John Muir

This quote has echoed in my mind as I traveled the world and sailed 100 miles offshore from land in a sailboat. This grand show...what a delight.
