January 2021 Horoscopes Overview: Phoenix Spirit Animal (Oracle Card)
How fitting that January kicks off the new year with the energy of the Phoenix. A creature often associated with the Egyptian God Bennu, and later adapted into Greek myth as the mystical bird who, consumed in flames, is reborn from the ashes, Phoenix is a reminder of our alchemical ability to seek evolution, advancement and initiation.
Or, put simply, to slam the door on the past and start over. And who doesn’t want to do that, this January?

Taurus Spirit Animalscope: Tyrannosaurus Rex
This month, Tyrannosaurus Rex is guiding you to protect your foundation but also to ease up and work as part of the team. Your sign’s other coruling planet, Pluto, is also in the final degrees of Capricorn and forming a square with Mars. It may feel as if two different aspects of yourself are arm wrestling with each other, battling for authority.

Saturn and Jupiter, the proverbial two Old Kings of the solar system, start off with a grand entry into Aquarius as December came to a close. How appropriate, Pisces, that Seahorse is slinking joyfully to guide you this month. You have a lot in common. Peace loving, lucky and compassionate, plus, Seahorse is known for nurturing because it is the male who carries the babies to term.
Like Seahorse, you may just want peace and tranquility this month, yet you’ll need to deal with an undercurrent of unsettled energy. Don’t bury your head in the sand at the bottom of the ocean now. Your sign’s ruler, Neptune, clashes with the planet of love and value, Venus in Sagittarius when this month begins. You may have to work through illusions and deceptions in order to share the love and create greater compassion and understanding like you yearn to.
Also, as we go into the fifth of the month, Neptune’s opposition with the Moon in Virgo may compel you to sort out some business that you would prefer to ignore.
